L/NE · PRONOUNCED “LINE”

Brand Foundation

The story behind L/NE and the manifesto that defines what it stands for.

LOVE I$ NEVER ENOUGH.

FOUNDATION 01

Brand Manifesto

We were taught that love should be enough.

Enough to hold people together.
Enough to survive the hard years.
Enough to outweigh everything else.

But sometimes love is forced to compete with money.
With status.
With ambition.
With someone else’s definition of success.

And when a paycheck becomes the measure of a person, love begins to lose its meaning.

L/NE was born at that line.

The line between being valued and being measured.
Between who you were and who you are becoming.
Between the impact that broke you and the decision to keep moving.

The slash represents that break.

But it also points forward.

L/NE was born in darkness, but it was never meant to remain there.

From darkness comes hope—not the promise that everything will suddenly become easy, but the belief that something meaningful can be rebuilt from what was lost.

We do not wear our wounds because we want to live in them. We wear them because we survived them.

L/NE is for those who have been underestimated, overlooked, rejected, or made to feel insignificant.

For those rebuilding after the relationship ended, the future changed, or the life they knew disappeared.

For those learning to define themselves again.

We believe your worth cannot be calculated by your income, your title, your possessions, or someone else’s decision to leave.

We believe damage does not mean defeat.

We believe an ending can become a starting line.

Love matters.

But love without respect, loyalty, recognition, and the willingness to value another person is never enough.

You are more than your paycheck.
You are more than what happened to you.
You are more than who failed to see your worth.

You survived the impact.

Now reclaim your identity.
Choose your own direction.
And keep moving forward.

L/NE
YOUR STORY IS NOT OVER.

FOUNDATION 02

Founder Story

L/NE was born from the end of a 21-year relationship.

The person I built my life with earned more than I did. Over time, the difference between our incomes became more than a number. My work was treated as insignificant, my contribution felt diminished, and eventually I was left questioning whether who I was had been reduced to what I earned.

That experience gave new meaning to a painful truth:

LOVE I$ NEVER ENOUGH.

The dollar sign is intentional. It represents the moment money begins to carry more weight than love—the moment a paycheck becomes a measurement of someone’s value.

But L/NE is not a brand about bitterness, and it is not saying that love is meaningless. It is about what happens when love exists without respect, loyalty, understanding, or the willingness to value someone beyond their income and status.

2024 was the year my life broke open. It became the dividing line between who I had been and who I would choose to become. That is why “24” lives within the brand—not as a memorial to the ending, but as a marker of survival and a new beginning.

L/NE turns rejection into reclamation.

It is for anyone who has been made to feel insignificant. Anyone who has been measured by their paycheck, title, status, mistakes, or circumstances. Anyone rebuilding after losing a relationship, an identity, or the future they thought they were going to have.

The slash represents the break—but it also points forward.

L/NE is a reminder that your worth cannot be calculated by what you earn, what you own, or who chose to leave.

You are more than your paycheck.

You are more than what happened to you.

And your story is not over.
